Abstract: 데이터 소팅 방법 및 이러한 방법을 사용하는 장치가 개시되어 있다. 데이터 소팅 방법은 소팅 대상 데이터를 입력받고 제1 소팅 유닛에서 데이터 소팅을 수행하는 단계와 제1 소팅 유닛에서 산출된 데이터를 입력받고 제1 소팅 유닛에 직렬로 연결된 소팅 유닛에서 데이터 소팅을 수행하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 따라서, 소팅을 수행함에 있어 merge sort를 이용하여 입력으로 들어오는 스트리밍 데이터를 병렬 처리를 통해 정렬함으로서 불필요한 지연시간을 줄일 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A data sorting method and an apparatus using the same are provided to arrange streaming data through parallel processing in arranging the streaming data inputted using merge sort. CONSTITUTION: A first sorting unit (110-1) receives sorting target data. The first sorting unit performs data sorting of the inputted data. A second sorting unit (110-2) is serially connected to the first sorting unit. The second sorting unit performs sorting on the basis of the calculated data. At least one sorting unit is serially connected to the second sorting unit. At least one sorting unit performs sorting on the basis of the calculated data.
