Abstract: A mobile agent management system using a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to control a mobile agent in a J2ME CDC(Connected Device Configuration) environment by using a mobile terminal in a J2ME(Java2 Platform Micro Edition) CLCD/MIDP(Connected Limited Device Configuration/Mobile Information Device Profile) environment. A shadow agent platform(100) can be executed in a J2ME CLDC/MIDP environment and monitors/controls/manages a mobile agent on a mobile terminal. A light mobile agent platform can be executed in a J2ME CDC environment and interworks with the shadow agent platform(100). The shadow agent platform(100) manages a shadow agent(1) executed in the shadow agent platform(100).

Abstract: 악의를 가진 이동에이전트로부터 에이전트 플랫폼을 보호하기 위해 이동에이전트가 가지고 있는 인증정보를 이용하여 이동에이전트의 신원을 확인하고 정당하지 못한 이동에이전트의 유입을 막음으로써 에이전트 플랫폼을 보호하는 도메인 기반 이동에이전트 인증 시스템 및 그 인증 방법에 관한 것으로, 네트워크의 호스트 사이를 이동하며 정보를 생산 또는 소비하는 이동에이전트, 상기 이동에이전트에 대한 생성 또는 인증을 수행하고 상기 이동에이전트의 기능이 실현되도록 지원하는 에이전트플랫폼, 동일한 보안 정책이 적용되는 도메인을 통해 상기 이동에이전트 또는 상기 에이전트플랫폼을 관리하는 도메인관리서버, 상기 에이전트플랫폼 또는 상기 도메인관리서버에 대한 인증을 수행하는 인증기관서버를 포함하는 구성을 마련한다.
상기와 같은 도메인 기반 이동에이전트 인증 시스템 및 그 인증 방법을 이용하는 것에 의해, 도메인 내 인증 시 인증 속도 및 연산 부하의 감소시킬 수 있다.

Abstract: A domain-based mobile agent authentication system a method thereof are provided to perform the authentication of a moving agent rapidly even in various environments including a ubiquitous computing environment. A domain-based mobile agent authentication system includes a moving agent(10), an agent platform(20), and a domain managing server(30). The moving agent produces or consumes information as moving between hosts of a network. The agent platform performs generation and or authentication of the moving agent and supports to realize functions of the moving agent. The domain managing server manages the moving agent or the agent platform through the domain to which the same security policy is applied. The agent platform performs the symmetric key authentication when other moving agents move from other agent platforms in the same domain.
