Abstract: PURPOSE: A fire detecting system with a black box and a controlling method thereof are provided to grasp the cause of the fire by photographing a fire situation through an embedded camera. CONSTITUTION: A heat sensor(110) senses the heat of a fire. A smoke sensor(120) senses the smoke of the fire. A camera unit(130) comprises a camera lens and an image sensor to photograph the surrounding situation. A voice microphone unit records the surrounding sound. An alarm unit(150) outputs the generation of a fire as a voice. A communication unit(160) communicates with a preset part to inform the generation of the fire. A storage unit(170) stores image and voice data inputted from the voice microphone unit and the camera unit. A controller(180) controls the function and operation of the heat sensor, the smoke sensor, the voice microphone unit, the alarm, the communication unit, and the storage unit.
