Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for converting a waiting time to points are provided to convert time information based on the waiting time into points and to determine the use of the points according to the request of the awaiter, thereby providing satisfaction to a user for which a waiting time occurs. CONSTITUTION: A time measurement unit (100) measures time information based on a waiting time of each awaiter. According to predetermined standards, a point conversion unit (200) converts the time information into points. A point management unit (300) manages and stores separately the points of each awaiter. According to the request of the awaiter, a signal generator (400) generates a use signal for the points. An awaiter determination unit (500) determines whether the awaiter is stored in the point management unit.
