    Abstract: A temperature and pH sensitive block copolymer, its preparation method, and a polymer hydrogel type drug delivery vehicle containing the copolymer are provided to improve gel strength in case of injection, thereby inhibiting the initial over release of drug. A temperature and pH sensitive block copolymer comprises a copolymer of a polyethylene-based compound and a biodegradable polymer; and a polyurethane-based oligomer. Preferably the polyethylene-based compound is represented by RO-(CH2-CH2-O)n-H and has a number average molecular weight of 1,000-5,000 g/mol, wherein R is H or a C1-C5 alkyl group; and n is an integer of 11-45. Preferably the biodegradable polymer is a biodegradable aliphatic polyester; and the polyurethane-based oligomer is coupled to the copolymer.
