PURPOSE: A system and a method for cracking down on illegal vehicles using a stereo camera are provided to detect the vehicle using a depth map without removing a surrounding lane. CONSTITUTION: A stereo camera unit(110) includes two cameras. The two cameras take a photograph of an image of vehicles. A control module unit(120) controls the operation and the illumination of the camera. An image conversion unit(130) converts the photographed image into an image with depth information. A violation determining unit(140) determines whether the vehicle violates traffic regulations or not. 본 발명에 따른 스트레오 카메라를 이용한 법규 위반 차량 단속 시스템(100)은 차량의 이미지를 촬영하는 2개의 카메라(112)를 포함하는 스트레오 카메라부(110), 스트레오 카메라부(110)의 카메라 작동 및 조도를 제어하는 제어 모듈부(120), 스트레오 카메라부(110)에서 촬영된 이미지를 깊이 정보를 갖는 이미지로 변환하는 이미지 변환부(130) 및 이미지 변환부(130)에서 변환된 이미지 정보를 기반으로 촬영된 차량의 법규 위반 여부를 판단하는 위반여부 판단부(140)를 포함한다. 스트레오 카메라를 이용하여 카메라만으로 속도 위반뿐만 아니라 차선 위반 등 다른 교통 법규 위반도 단속이 가능하다.

PURPOSE: A system for displaying smart map manes on a mobile communications terminal is provided for users to select a menu without traveling from menu to menu many times when selecting a necessary function on a mobile communication terminal. A smart map menu configuration unit(120) forms smart map menus with one of smart map menu types selected in advance by analyzing the menu information by a user. PURPOSE: A method for simulating processor power and a system thereof are provided to prefabricate power consumption about each instruction executed in a processor as look up table, thereby rapidly calculating power consumption about a specific code composed of the instruction. CONSTITUTION: A lookup table unit(120) stores power consumption of an instruction executed in a target processor(110). A code inputting unit(130) receives a target code executed in the target processor. A code power measuring unit(140) measures power consumption about the target code inputted in the code inputting unit by using power consumption information about the instruction stored in the lookup table unit. An optimal code detecting unit detects a minimum power consumption code by comparing power consumption between the target codes when the target codes executing the same function are inputted.

PURPOSE: A Korean alphabet input method in a portable terminal is provided to eliminate additional space key input process by changing a consonant inputted with an initial sound into the end sound of a previous syllable. CONSTITUTION: When characters are inputted in a Korean alphabet input mode, a current input character is determined a consonant or a vowel(S1). In case the current input character is determined as the consonant, the initial sound of the current input character is extracted according to kinds of characters which are just before being inputted(S2). In case the current input character is determined as the vowel, the current input character is outputted(S3).

PURPOSE: A time difference map creation method is provided to realize low power effects by reducing memory bandwidth which is necessary to read images by reducing a search range. CONSTITUTION: A stereo image is inputted(S1). An ESR(Effective Search Range) which is used for hamming distance computation on the stereo image is determined. A time difference map is created using the ESR. A low-resolution reduction image for the stereo image is created(S2-1). A histogram is created for the low-resolution reduction image(S2-2). The EST is determined using the histogram(S2-3).
