Abstract: PURPOSE: A peptide for treating and preventing allergic diseases and a composition containing the same are provided to suppress degranulation of mast cells and to prevent and treat allergic diseases. CONSTITUTION: A peptide for preventing and treating allergic diseases contains an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. The peptide suppresses degranulation of the mast cells. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating allergic diseases contains the peptide as an active ingredient. The allergic diseases are anapaxhylis, allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, or allergic dermatitis. The composition additionally contains SLO(streptolysin O). The composition additionally contains pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, diluents, or excipients. The composition also contains anti-histamine agent, steroidal anti-inflammatory agent, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent. A cosmetic composition for preventing or treating allergic symptom contains the peptides as an active ingredient.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing plant extract for suppressing granule secretion of mast cells is provided to effectively prevent and treat allergic diseases and to be used in a food composition and cosmetic composition. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating allergic diseases contains Salix koreensis extract as an active ingredient. The extract is isolated from Salix koreensis stems using methanol. A method for preparing Corydalis speciosa Maxim. extract comprises: a step of pulverizing Salix koreensis; a step of extracting pulverized Salix koreensis with water, organic solvent, or a mixture solvent thereof and drying; and a step of dissolving the dried material with water, organic solvent, or a mixture thereof.
