    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided are the fermented extract of Acanthopanax senticosus which inhibits the generation of IgE and eosinophil and thus has therapeutic effect on allergic diseases. Also, provided are a preparation method of the fermented extract of Acanthopanax senticosus and therapeutics for allergic diseases containing it. CONSTITUTION: The fermented extract of Acanthopanax senticosus having therapeutic effect on allergic disease is obtained by fermenting the extract of Acanthopanax senticosus with lactic acid bacteria including Lactobacillus casei(KCCM-10483) and/or Lactobacillus acidophilus(KCCM-10482) at 30-37 deg.C for 24-48 hours. The therapeutic for allergic disease contains a pharmaceutically effective amount of the fermented extract of Acanthopanax senticosus.
