Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method are provided to reduce restriction on the motion of an examinee and allow for ease of measurement, while achieving improved time resolution. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a constant current source constituted by an oscillator frequency circuit and a voltage current converter circuit, and which generates a trickle current; a stimulating current electrode for permitting the trickle current to flow from a point to the other selected point of a biomass; two or more voltage detection electrodes for measuring voltages in the predetermined portion of the biomass where the trickle current flows; a demodulator(210) for demodulating the voltage measured by the voltage detection electrode; a signal gain and offset controller(220) for controlling gain and offset of the signal passed through the demodulator; and an insulating amplifier(230) for insulating a power and a signal.
