Abstract: PURPOSE: A terminal position measuring device based on a particle filter, a method, and a recording medium thereof are provided to rapidly track the real position of a user in an indoor place. CONSTITUTION: A posterior probability calculation unit(230) calculates the posterior probability of nt particles. A posterior probability correction unit(240) corrects the posterior probability of the nt particles using nt existing probabilities. A particle updating unit(250) eliminates one or more particles in which the posterior probability is lower than a predetermined threshold value. The particle updating unit selects new particles as the number of the eliminated particles. The particle updating unit updates the nt particles.
