Abstract: A simply multi-channel migration scheme for multi-hop IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.11 networks is provided to omit a specific process for channel assignment, thereby improving throughput and reducing delay of nodes. In a multi-channel scheme using plural channels not a single channel in multi-channel multi-hop IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.11 networks, the multi-channel scheme is performed by the following steps of: recognizing transmission of another node and performing movement to another channel; and returning to one basic channel after the transmission by using a specific timer.
