Abstract: PURPOSE: High early strength cement containing waste fly ash is provided to enhance strength by activating blast furnace slag. CONSTITUTION: A high early strength cement composition contains 40-65 wt% of waste fly ash, 30-40 wt% of blast furnace slag, 4-14 wt% of waste alumina, 0.5-3.0 wt% of tartaric acid, and 0.5-3.0 wt% of lithium hydroxide. The specific surface area of the waste fly ash is 4,000-6,000 cm^2/g. A method for manufacturing concrete comprises a step of mixing a fine aggregate material, a coarse aggregate material, and mixing water with the composition; and a step of curing the mixture at room temperature.
