Abstract: Disclosed are mobile terminals for performing extended OTP authentication using a graphical password authentication scheme and methods thereof by the present invention. Abstract: 본 발명에 의한 그래픽컬 패스워드 인증기법을 활용한 확장된 OTP 인증을 수행하기 위한 모바일 단말기 및 그 방법이 개시된다.
본 발명에 따른 그래픽컬 패스워드 인증기법을 활용한 확장된 OTP 인증을 수행하기 위한 모바일 단말기는 다수의 이미지를 포함하는 기 설정된 개수의 이미지 그룹을 순차적으로 디스플레이하되, 상기 이미지 그룹 내의 이미지 각각에 매핑된 OTP(One Time Password) 문자를 함께 디스플레이하는 표시 수단; 및 디스플레이된 상기 이미지 그룹을 기반으로 사용자로부터 입력받은 OTP 문자와 기 생성된 사용자 패스워드를 이용하여 사용자 인증을 수행하는 제어 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
