Abstract: PURPOSE: An LBA(LoWPAN(Low power Wireless Personal Area Network) Bootstrapping Agent) device and a LoWPAN bootstrapping system are provided to construct efficient LoWPAN. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver(210) communicates with an LBS(LoWPAN Bootstrapping Server) or an LBD(LoWPAN Bootstrapping Device) which can be directly connected to the transceiver. A message processing unit(230) receives an LBA request message from the LBD through the transceiver, and transmits an LBA advertising message. The message processing unit receives an LBP(LoWPAN Bootstrapping Protocol) from the LBD, and determines the joining of the LBD by transmitting the LBP message to the LBS.
