Abstract: The present invention relates to an α, β- substituted optically active carbonyl compound represented by the chemical formula 1-1; a 3,4,5- substituted optically active piperidine compound; and a heterocyclic compound such as a lactone and pyrrolidone. Various heterocyclic compounds manifest physiological activities such as antioxidant effects.
