Abstract: A method for transmitting an error message in a wireless network and an apparatus thereof are provided to enhance reliability in a source node's transmitting data by transmitting an error message to the source node and enabling the source data to transmit the data again on the basis of the error message and to perform a proper measure. A method for transmitting an error message in a wireless network comprises the following several steps. A node among intermediate nodes receives a packet(S10). The node determines whether the received packet is a data packet or an error packet(S11). In case of the error packet, the node eliminates entry of a destination node from a routing table(S15). In case of the data packet, the node searches for entry regarding a destination node in the routing table(S12). If the routing entry regarding the destination node is found, the node transmits the data packet to the next or destination node according to the routing entry(S13). The node checks whether the data packet is properly transmitted to the next or destination node(S14). If the data packet is not properly transmitted, the node eliminates the routing entry information regarding the destination node from the routing table(S17) and transmits the error message to a previous node by a unicast scheme(S18). If the routing entry regarding the destination node is not found in the step S12, the node generates an error message and transmits the error message to the previous node by the unicast scheme(S16).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A multiple router IP-USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) and a communication method thereof are provided to have at least one router, thereby enabling internal sensor nodes to communicate each other through the router. CONSTITUTION: Sensor nodes(21~25,31~34,41~45) respectively designate routers as default routers. The sensor nodes designate closest routers among the routers as default routers. The sensor nodes communicate with an external network through the default routers.

Abstract: 라우터는아이피-유에스엔과외부의네트워크를연결하는기능을한다. 아이피-유에스엔은적어도하나이상의라우터를구비하여야아이피-유에스엔이개시된다. 멀티플라우터아이피-유에스엔은적어도하나이상의라우터를구비하여유에스엔내의센서노드들이외부의네트워크와신뢰성을가지고통신할수 있다. 또한내부의센서노드들끼리필요한경우라우터를통해서통신하는것이가능하다. 또한하나의라우터가작동하지않더라도다른라우터들을통하여외부의네트워크와통신할수 있게된다.
