Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for flood runoff calculation. The apparatus for flood runoff calculation according to the present invention includes an information reception unit that receives flood runoff-associated information on one or more points in a set area from a user; a purge estimating unit that estimates a median value and a spread value of a purge coefficient for the flood runoff calculation by using the received flood runoff-associated information; and a flood runoff calculation unit that calculates the flood runoff of corresponding to a flood runoff calculation request for a first point in the set area of the user by using a flood calculation formula to which the estimated median value is applied. According to the present invention, the information measured at the plurality of points in the set area is used to estimate the values of variables for the flood runoff calculation, and the flood runoff at any point in the set area is measured by using the estimated variable values, and thus the accuracy can be very high to the point of an error within 1% from an actual flood runoff while the flood runoff can be calculated at any point. In addition, the apparatus for flood runoff calculation can be provided in the form of a graphical user interface (GUI), and thus the flood runoff at any point can be calculated with ease by the user.
