    Abstract: A smart scheduler reflecting situation change is provided to offer an alarm service to a user through reflection of the situation change by adjusting a schedule of the user based on various situation changes. An interface(120) transceives situation information with an external service provider. An alarm time determiner(140) determines the final alarm time by reflecting the situation information received/updated from the external service provider to enable the user to perform the schedule on the fixed schedule time even if the situation change is generated. The alarm time setting part is composed of a temporary alarm time setting part differently setting a temporary alarm time by responding to the situation information, a checker checking validity of the temporary alarm time, and a final alarm time output part outputting the final alarm time by responding to a result of the checker.

    Abstract: A situation recognition-based home appliance control system is provided to enable centralized management and easily add a new service by simplifying defining of a situation or working and making remote registration and change possible. A sensor(10) generates sensing information used as a basis for determining a context. A sensing information processor(20) processes the sensing information into a message format that can be well understood by a context recognizing unit(50). A context defining unit(30) helps to describe a context to be recognized in a context description language, and transfers it to a context description language interpreting unit(40). The context description language interpreting unit(40) interprets the received context description to generate a state transition function and transfers it to the context recognizing unit(50). The context recognizing unit(60) applies the state transition function to sensing information continuously generated over time, and when it recognizes arbitrary sensing information, the context recognizing unit(60) understands that a context has generated and informs a general controller(80) accordingly. A control defining unit(60) helps describe content to be controlled for each context in a control description language of a normal language format, and when a control description is completed, the control defining unit(60) transfers it to a control description language interpreting unit(70). The general controller(80) generates a suitable control command language from a context recognition signal generated whenever the context recognizing unit(60) recognizes a context. An integrated controller(90) interprets the control command language received from the general controller(80) to analyze a type of a home appliance to be controlled, and transfers a suitable control code to a home appliance controller(100). The home appliance controller(100) receives the control code and generates a corresponding control signal.
