Abstract: PURPOSE: A saturable absorber including monolayer graphene and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to emit the ultrashort pulse of a femto second in a broadband wavelength domain using a saturable absorber in solid laser oscillation. CONSTITUTION: A single layer graphene is formed on the top part of a substrate. The area of the single layer graphene is 1-1.44cm^2. The substrate is made of optical glass. The substrate is formed into a reflection mirror. A mixed gas including the alkane of C1-C10, hydrogen, and argon is applied on the substrate which is coated by a metallic foil at a temperature of 500-2000°C. A stamp material is coated on the graphene. A graphene and stamp composite and the substrate are separated by etching the metallic foil. The graphene and stamp composite is obtained by separating the grapheme and stamp composite and the substrate. The graphene and stamp composite is mapped on other substrate. The stamp is removed.
