Abstract: The present invention provides a copolymer of aliphatic polycarbonate-aromatic polyester having long chain branches that includes repetitive units of -OAO- and repetitive units of Z(O-)_a connected by linking groups of carbonyl [-C(O)-] and -C(O)YC(O)-.
