Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is an antipyretic medicine which contains, as active ingredient, dexibuprofen useful for treatment of fever caused by infectious diseases, inflammatory diseases and a cold. The medicine containing dexibuprofen has excellent antipyretic effect compared to the control. CONSTITUTION: The antipyretic medicine is characterized by containing dexibuprofen which is represented by the formula(1), as an active ingredient. The dexibuprofen is used by mixing with active ingredients, inactive solid, liquid, and gaseous carriers, additives and auxiliary agents. The medicine is manufactured by adding dexibuprofen to carboxy-methyl-cellulose, saccharose, coloring agent, preservative and distilled water.
