Abstract: A method is dedicated to the adaptation of communication in a communication network with services network core (CR). This method consists in supplementing user profiles (subscribers to services of the network) with an information field describing at least one physical limitation, and should a signalling message be received relating to a communication involving a user whose user profile describes a given physical limitation, in supplementing this signalling message with a header representative of this physical limitation. Thus, when a communication apparatus (T1) involved in the communication with the user receives the signalling message and if it is of relevance thereto and if so desired, it adapts the type and/or at least one parameter of the communication with the user as a function of the physical limitation.
