Abstract: A method is dedicated to providing interactive menus on demand from a user communication terminal (T1), via a bidirectional communication network (R1). This method consists, in the event that a terminal (T1, T) broadcasts a content transmitted by the network (R1) over an outward path, i) in activating a dedicated function in a communication terminal (T1) in such a way as to transmit to the network (R1), via a bidirectional return path, a request asking for the transmission of an interactive menu in conjunction with the broadcast content, ii) on receipt of this request, in accessing first storage means (BD) in which are stored first data in conjunction with the broadcast content, iii) in generating an interactive menu on the basis of at least the first data pertaining to the broadcast content, and iv) in transmitting the interactive menu generated to the requesting terminal (Ti) via the return path of the network (R1) so that it can display it and that the user thereof can select one at least of the elements that it contains.
