Abstract: The present invention provides a method for adding/detecting an adaptive, extendable segment index for resegmentation and the apparatus thereof. According to the present invention, at first judging whether a resegmentation has occurred; when confirming that the resegmentation has already occurred, searching a resegmentation header of current information block for an information bit indicating the end of the resegmentation header and the beginning of other information; inserting two new additive information bits closely before the information bit indicating the end of the resegmentation header and the beginning of other information, the firstinformation bit is used to indicate that a higher level resegmentation has occurred, and the second information bit is used to indicate respectively every segment brought by the resegmentation at this time.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for joint-relaying in wireless communication networks. The method and apparatus are provided for the sake of enhancing the performance of relayed signals, reducing the relaying resources and solving the problems of relaying switch. The method and apparatus are characterized as followings: processing the received signals according to the indication message from a base station, and then transmitting the processed signals to the network nodes of next stage. Compared with prior art, the method and apparatus can effectively get spacial diversity gain or spacial multiplexing gain, even both of them, meanwhile the requirement of the ralaying synchronization is lower.
