PURPOSE: A method for detecting symbol of spatial multiplexing using hierarchical modulation, Receiving methods and devices for spatial multiplexing MIMO system using hierarchical modulation are provided to minimize the loss according to the property of the mobile communications channel and user interference. CONSTITUTION: According to the size of the receive signal to noise ratio, and the arrangement parameter and information rank, the bit error ratio of each stream is expected and the stream decipher symbol is defined by arranging the domain of each stream(S20). The detection ordering of the decipher symbol pitches is determined by deciding the channel matrix order mode with the forward direction or the reverse direction(S30) According to the channel matrix order mode, channel is disassembled QR(S40). The estimation decipher symbol for the interference cancellation is detected(S50). The estimation decipher symbol for the final decipher is detected(S60).

본 발명은 공간 다중화(Spatial Multiplexing) 심볼 검출 방법에 대한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 채널 행렬을 QR 분해하여 채널 행렬의 정렬 기준을 정의하고 그 기준에 따라 행렬을 정렬함으로써, 시스템의 연산량을 감소시키고 BER(bit error rate) 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 심볼 검출 방법에 대한 것이다. 이를 위해, 측정된 채널 행렬( H )과 잡음(noise)의 분산값(variance)에 따라 확장된 채널 행렬( )을 정의하는 단계; 상기 확장된 채널 행렬( )을 이용하여 순서 정렬 기준을 정의하는 단계; 상기 순서 정렬 기준을 이용하여 확장된 채널 행렬( )을 정렬하고 순서 정렬 정보를 얻는 단계; 상기 확장된 채널 행렬( )를 이용하여 송신단에 실제 전력을 할당하는 단계; 상기 순서 정렬 정보를 이용하여, 전력 할당을 적용한 확장된 채널 행렬( HP )을 정렬하는 단계; 상기 행렬( HP )을 QR 분해하여 후보 송신 심볼을 검출하는 단계; 를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공간 다중화 심볼 검출 방법을 제공한다. Abstract:
A method for detecting a spatial multiplexing symbol is provided to decrease a calculation amount of a system by defining an arrangement criterion of a channel matrix by decomposing the channel matrix and arranging the channel matrix using the arrangement criterion. A measured channel matrix is expanded according to a variance of a noise to define an expanded channel matrix. An order arrangement criterion is defined by using the expanded channel matrix. The expanded channel matrix is arranged by using the order arrangement criterion, and sequence arrangement information is obtained. Actual power is allocated on a transmitter side by using the expanded channel matrix. The expanded channel matrix is arranged by using the order arrangement information. The expanded matrix is QR-decomposed, such that candidate transmission symbol is detected.
