Abstract: PURPOSE: An intelligent road system and a terminal thereof are provided to receive road use information from multiple LEDs arranged in a road or the intelligent road system and to display the road use information for being easily recognized by a driver. CONSTITUTION: A terminal (200) includes a display unit (210), a control unit (230) and an information receiving unit (220). The information receiving unit receives a signal from outside. The control unit is functionally connected with the display unit and the information receiving unit. In case entry of a vehicle is detected in a region supporting an intelligent road system, the control unit controls the information receiving unit to receive road use information and to display the road use information in the display unit. Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for controlling an LED module in an intelligent road system are provided to easily display road information in real time by using a plurality of LEDs arranged on a road. CONSTITUTION: An LED module(110a,110b,110c,110d) is buried in a road. The LED module includes a light emitting unit, an information collecting unit, and a control unit. The light emitting unit includes at least one LED and variably displays road information. The information collecting unit collects road situation information. The control unit is functionally connected to the light emitting unit and the information collecting unit. The control unit controls at least one LED of the light emitting unit.

Abstract: 본 명세서에서의 일 개시에 따르면, 단말 장치가 제공된다. 상기 단말 장치는 디스플레이부와; 외부로부터 신호를 수신하기 위한 정보 수신부와; 상기 디스플레이부 및 상기 정보 수신부와 기능적으로 연결되는 제어부를 포함한다. 상기 제어부는, 지능형 도로 시스템이 지원되는 지역에 진입함을 감지하는 경우, 도로 이용에 관한 정보를 수신하도록 상기 정보 수신부를 제어하고, 상기 수신한 도로 이용에 관한 정보를 상기 디스플레이부에 표시하도록 제어한다. 상기 도로 이용에 관한 정보는 도로의 차선이 확장 또는 축소됨을 알려주는 차선 변경 정보, 상기 차선 변경 정보에 기초하여 통행 시간이 가장 짧은 차선을 추천해주는 차선 추천 정보, 차량이 운행 중인 도로의 제한 속도가 변경됨을 알려주는 제한 속도 변경 정보 또는 차량의 진행 방향을 표시하는 정보 중 적어도 하나를 포함한다.
