Abstract: PURPOSE: A preparation method of patinium powder for a catalyst is provided to improve dispersibility and catalyst activation by forming particles with a size of approximately 2~5nm. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of patinium powder for a catalyst comprises the steps of: distributing a solid carrier and pouring a platinum solution on the carrier so that nano sized platinum particles are fixed on the solid carrier and drying and plasticizing the platinum solution. The platinum solution is selected from the group consisting of Ptx, PtClx and Pt_6. The support element is selected from the group consisting of Al_2O_3, SiO_2, TiO_2, CeO_2, and ZiO_2. The plasticizing temperature is 300~500°C.
