Abstract: 본 발명은 열대열 말라리아 원충의 시스테인 단백질분해효소(cysteine protease)인 칼페인(calpain)을 포함한 항말라리아 약제의 스크리닝을 위한 조성물 및 이를 표적물질로 이용한 스트리닝 방법을 제공한다. 상세하게는, 본 발명은 열대열 말라리아 원충의 칼페인 유전자를 클로닝한 후 박테리아 단백질 발현 시스템을 통해 활성형 재조합 칼페인(active form of recombinant calpain)을 완성하여, 이의 효소학적 특성 및 기능을 규명하고 항말라리아 약제의 스크리닝 방법을 개발함으로써 말라리아 환자의 진단, 말라리아의 예방 또는 치료제 개발에 광범위하게 응용될 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition for screening an anti-malaria drug containing calpain of malaria protozoa is provided to apply to develop an agent for preventing and treating malaria. CONSTITUTION: A composition for screening anti-malaria drug contains a calpain gene of P. falciparum. The calpain gene contains a nucleotide of sequence number 3 or base sequence having 90% or more homology with the nucleotide. A composition for screening the anti-malaria drug contains a protein expressed from the calpain gene. The calpain protein has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 4 or amino acid sequence having 90% or more homology with the amino acid. The anti-malaria drug is screened using the composition as a target material.

Abstract translation: 目的：提供一种用于筛选含有疟原虫的钙蛋白酶的抗疟药物的组合物，用于开发预防和治疗疟疾的药剂。 构成：用于筛选抗疟药物的组合物含有恶性疟原虫的钙蛋白酶基因。 钙蛋白酶基因含有与核苷酸具有90％或更高同源性的序列号3或碱基序列的核苷酸。 用于筛选抗疟药的组合物含有由钙蛋白酶基因表达的蛋白质。 钙蛋白酶蛋白具有序列号4的氨基酸序列或与氨基酸具有90％以上同源性的氨基酸序列。 使用组合物作为靶材料筛选抗疟药。
