Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing Angelicae Dahuricae Radix extract is provided to enhance generation of intracelluar immune enhancing factor and to treat and prevent immune deficiency. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for enhancing immunity contains 0.1-50 weight% of Angelicae Dahuricae Radix extract as an active ingredient. The Angelicae Dahuricae Radix extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, or mixture solvent thereof. A health food for enhancing immunity contains Angelicae Dahuricae Radix extract as an active ingredient. The health food is used in the form of powder, granule, tablet, capsule, or beverage.

Abstract: 본 발명은 백지(Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) 추출물을 함유하는 면역 활성 증강을 위한 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 본 발명은 대식세포 Raw 264.7 세포내에서 면역증강인자인 NO, TNF-α의 분비능 생성 증가 효과, iNOS, TNF-α, COX-2 mRNA 증가 효과, 여러 가지 보조자극분자(co-stimulatory molecule)의 발현 증가 효과, 비장세포 증식 효과 및 사이토카인 발현 증가 효과를 나타낼 뿐만 아니라, 선천성면역에 관계된 리셉터인 TLR-4(Toll-like receptor 4)의 면역세포 내에서 활성 증진 효과
및 대장균 감염을 유도한 동물모델의 면역 증강 효능이 우수하여 면역저하증의 예방, 억제 및 치료에 우수한 면역증강 효능을 갖는 식품, 의약품 및 사료 첨가제로서 유용하다.
