Abstract: Functional food containing medicinal herbs is provided, which functional food has effects on diet, anti-diabetes, anti-hyperlipemia and radical scavenging. A diet, anti-diabetic, anti-hyperlipemia and radical scavenging composition comprises 5 to 15 wt.% of Bombyx mori L., 5 to 15 wt.% of ginseng tail, 5 to 15 wt.% of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner, 5 to 15 wt.% of root joint of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner, 5 to 15 wt.% of Luffa cylindrica Roem, 5 to 15 wt.% of Citrus reticulata seeds, 5 to 15 wt.% of Laminaria, 5 to 15 wt.% of Platycodon grandiflorum and 5 to 15 wt.% of Lonicera japonica THUNB.
