Abstract: A damper using super elastic shape memory alloy is provided to change mechanical energy changed by the damper in the process of a mechanical load or a non-load into thermal energy by using the result of the phase change of a shape memory wire. A damper includes an inner shaft(10), a center anchor(20), the first anchor(30), plural first shape memory alloy wires, the second anchor(50), a plurality of second shape memory alloy wires(60), and a damper cylinder(70). The inner shaft has a screw part(11) and a non-screw part(12). The inner shaft is formed at the first side thereof with a head part having an enlarged outer diameter. The center anchor is coupled to the screw part of the inner shaft. The first anchor is hooked into the first wedge supporting the first spring inserted into the non-screw part provided at the first side of the center anchor. The first anchor is slid on the head part. The first shape memory alloy wire is coupled to the center anchor of the first anchor. The second anchor is hooked into the second wedge supporting the second spring inserted into the screw part provided at the second side of the center anchor. The second anchor is slid through a screwed slider pipe. The second shape memory alloy wire couples the second anchor to the center anchor. The damper cylinder is fixed to the inner circumference of the first and second anchors such that the inner shaft horizontally moves.
