Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a pharmaceutical composition for treating liver diseases containing the extract of natural products with Semisulcospira libertina (Gould) extract as active ingredient. The composition has excellent inhibition effect on hepatic fibrosis. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating liver diseases is characterized by containing Semisulcospira libertina (Gould) extract as active ingredient and it further contains the extract of natural products selected from Artemisia Messerschmidtiana Besser, Hovenia dulcis Thumb, garlic, Paeonia japonica var. pilosa, Angelica gigas Nakai, Polygonatum odoratum Druce var., licorice root, jujube, cinnamon, dried ginger and Gardenia jasminoides Ellis.
