Abstract: PURPOSE: A heat spreader for display device is provided to save the cost using natural graphite without separate processing, to prevent environment pollution, and to improve flexibility by including a binder. CONSTITUTION: A thermal diffusion layer(10) comprises a graphite and a thermoplastic resin. A first tackifier layer(12) is formed on top of the thermal diffusion layer. The metal layer(14) is formed on top of the first tackifier layer. A second tackifier layer(16) is formed on top of the metal layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A heat spreader for display device is provided to reduce a production cost generated from expanding process by directly using natural graphite and to prevent environment pollution. CONSTITUTION: A heat spreader(10) comprises graphite, adhesive resin with a glass transition temperature below -30°C and hardener. A release paper(12) in which attaching/detaching facilitates is attached to both sides of the heat spreader for carriage and preservation. Acryl resin, rubbery resin, vinyl resin, silicon resin, urethane resin or mixture is used as the adhesive resin. Epoxy resin is used as the hardener.
