Abstract: PURPOSE: A moving target speed detecting device and an ultra wide band radar receiver using the same are provided to simply use a UWB pulse which is reflected from a target object and temporally dispersed, thereby obtaining high performance. CONSTITUTION: A coherent detecting device(310) detects whether two kinds of pulses which have a 90 degree phase difference are coherent at every pulse. A phase detecting device(320) detects a detection phase signal(Fm(i)) using a signal outputted from the coherent detecting device. The detection phase signal includes information about the phase of a received pulse. A phase delay device(330) delays the phase of the detection phase signal by predetermined time. A phase difference operating device(340) calculates the difference between a signal outputted from the phase detecting device and a signal outputted from the phase delay device to generate a phase difference signal(Em(i)).
