Abstract: Polyvinylalcohol hydrogel particles are provided to be amorphous irrespective of the degree of hydrolysis, to ensure relatively low specific gravity and increased surface unevenness, and to exhibit improved dispersibility in a contrast medium when the particles are used as an embolizing agent. Polyvinylalcohol hydrogel particles are prepared by dispersing poly(vinyl acetate) microspheres in an aqueous acid solution. The aqueous acid solution comprises 0.1-3 M of hydrochloric acid, 0.1-500 ml of alcohol, and 0.1-300 g of an inorganic salt, based on the aqueous acid solution 1L. The polyvinylalcohol hydrogel particle has an uneven surface. The alcohol is methanol or ethanol. The inorganic salt is sodium sulfate or sodium sulfite.

Abstract: A preparation method of X-ray opaque embolic material is provided to prevent problems caused by in vivo resorption of liquid contrast medium, measure the quantitative blood flow and analyze the occlusion degree of blood vessel. A X-ray opaque embolic material is prepared by dipping a polymer particle in iodine or potassium iodide solution to form an iodine complex having X-ray opaque properties, wherein the polymer is a spherical PVAc(polyvinyl acetate) microparticle of which surface is modified by PVA(polyvinyl alcohol) and has the particle size of 100 nm-3000 mum, wherein the iodine complex is formed on both of a core and a surface of the polymer microparticles.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing nanofiber is provided to produce a nonwoven fabric formed of continued nanofiber without beads, by mixing and spinning polymers having the same molecular structure and different molecular weights. A spinning solution is formed by mixing and dissolving a plurality of polymers in a solvent, wherein the polymers have the same molecular structure and different molecular weights(S110). The spinning solution is electro-spun and enriched to prepare nanofiber(S120). Each of the polymers has a weight percents of at least 10%, based on the total weight of the polymers. The plurality of polymers are polycaprolactone substances having different molecular weights.

Abstract: A nano non-woven fabric containing an antioxidant for wound dressing is provided to improve close adhesion to the skin and air permeability, to prevent contamination by bacterial invasion, and to suppress the production of active oxygen. A nano non-woven fabric for wound dressing contains an antioxidant using a bio-compatible polymer impregnated with N-acetyl-L-cysteine(NAC) as a support. The NAC containing polymer solution having a concentration of 3-20g/dl is then applied to a nano non-woven fabric by electrospinning. Both synthetic polymers or natural polymers can be used as the bio-compatible polymer. Examples of such polymers include polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene oxide, polyethylene glycol, PLA, PGA, collagen, gelatin, alginate, alginic acid, chitosan, etc.
