Abstract: 일 실시 예에 따른 액정 실리콘 표시 소자는 하부 실리콘 기판, 상부 투광성 기판 및 상기 하부 실리콘 기판과 상기 상부 투광성 기판 사이에 배치되는 액정 구조물을 포함한다. 상기 하부 실리콘 기판은 표시소자를 작동시키는 구동 회로를 포함하는 회로층, 상기 회로층 상에 배치되고 외부로부터 입사하는 광을 반사하는 반사층 및 상기 반사층 상에 위치하여 상기 반사층의 손상을 방지하는 보호막층을 포함한다. 상기 액정 구조물은 상기 하부 실리콘 기판과 접하는 고분자층 및 상기 고분자층 상에 배치되는 고분자 분산형 액정(PDLC) 층을 포함한다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying three dimensional images is provided to improve the reality of the three dimensional images by efficiently using light. CONSTITUTION: A first polarized light separator(111) separates incident light into S-wave polarized light and P-wave polarized light. A second polarized light separator(112) separates the separated S-wave polarized light into S-wave polarized light and P-wave polarized light. A first liquid crystal display device(121) reflects and modulates the separated S-wave polarized light or P-wave polarized light from the second polarized light separator into P-wave polarized light and S-wave polarized light. A third polarized light separator(113) separates the separated P-wave polarized light into S-wave polarized light and P-wave polarized light. A second liquid crystal display device reflects and modulates the P-wave polarized light and the S-wave polarized light into S-wave polarized light and P-wave polarized light.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A polymer display element and method for manufacturing the same are provided to have a low manufacturing cost while having an excellent durability and have excellent otpical usage efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A liquid silicon display element(200) includes as follows. A lower silicon substrate(20). An upper transparent substrate(30) which is arranged to be separated with a lower silicon substrate. An liquid crystal structure material(40) is arranged between the lower silicon substrate and the upper transparent substrate. The lower silicon substrate includes as follows. A circuit layer(210) includes a driving circuit which operates the display element. A reflective layer(220) reflects the light which entered from an external side and is arranged on the circuit layer. The protective layer(230) prevent the damage of the reflective layer by locating on the reflective layer. The polymer is covered to the lower silicon substrate. A polymer disperse liquid crystal layer is arranged on the polymer layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A silicon liquid crystal display is provided to reduce power consumption by using a common voltage modulation method. CONSTITUTION: A silicon liquid crystal pixel array includes a plurality of pixels, a plurality of data lines connected to the pixels, and a plurality of scan lines connected to the pixels. A gate driver(72) simultaneously applies a scan signal to the plurality of scan lines according to a reset signal. A source driver(73) applies a plurality of data voltages to a plurality of data lines. A first switch unit blocks the connection between the source driver and the plurality of data lines according to the reset signal. A second switch unit applies a preset voltage to the plurality of data lines according to the reset signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A projection system is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost and to increase the contrast ratio of a screen by forming a white area of a screen. CONSTITUTION: An upper translucent substrate of a PDLCoS(Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal on Silicon) display(200) is faced with a lower silicon substrate. A liquid crystal structure is arranged between the lower silicon substrate and the upper translucent substrate. The polymer dispersed liquid crystal silicon display reflects and disperses light from light source. A reflective mirror(300) reflects the light from the PDLCoS display.
