Abstract: A composition comprising eupatilin is provided to recover intercellular communication through gap junction damaged by phenazine methosulfate(PMS) and maintain homeostasis thereof, thereby being able to effectively treat and prevent gap junction related diseases. The preventive composition for diseases mediated with gap junctional intercellular communication damage is characterized in that it comprises eupatilin as an effective ingredient. The composition is used in a health food, a food additive, and a feed.
