Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cranial nerve diseases is provided to reduce the apoptosis of nerve cell using a triamcinolone and acetenite. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cranial nerve diseases comprises glucocordicoid based compound or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient. The cranial nerve diseases is selected among dementia, Parkinson disease, Alzheimer diseases, huntington disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Parkinson-ALS-dementia complex, and progressive supranuclear palsy.
