Abstract: A method for electrochemically regenerating a coenzyme used for a biosensor or an enzymatic biofuel cell is provided to simply regenerate the coenzyme at low costs. A method for electrochemically regenerating a coenzyme includes oxidization of the coenzyme by directly delivering electron to a metal oxide electrode or reduction of the coenzyme by directly accepting the electron from the metal oxide electrode. The metal of the metal oxide electrode shows the second to fourteenth group and the third to sixth period among the periodic table of the chemical elements. The metal of the metal oxide electrode is selected from the group consisting of tin, iridium, titanium, chrome, copper, manganese, iron, tungsten, nickel, zinc, niobium, magnesium, aluminium, ruthenium, lead and their mixtures.

Abstract: 본발명은전기화학적방법을이용한조효소의재생방법, 이를이용한효소적산화환원방법, 및효소바이오센서와효소연료전지에관한것으로, 보다상세하게는금속산화물전극에직접전자를전달하거나전달받아조효소가산화또는환원되고, 전자전달매개체를사용하지않는것을특징으로한다. 본발명의조효소재생방법은재생된조효소를보다저비용으로간단하게얻을수 있으므로, 전기화학적생물반응기뿐만아니라바이오센서, 생물연료전지등 다양한분야에널리적용시킬수 있다.
