Abstract: A stereoscopic image system using a multi-layered display device is provided to implement a image display without distortion by realizing a plurality of center depth planes. A multi-layered image display(100) includes plural display devices(110,120) successively arranged on the same central axis. Each of the display devices displays an applied basic image in different center depth planes, wherein the center depth plane is an area included within a set distance based on a location where the image displayed by the display device is focused. An image processor(300) provides each basic image corresponding to the plural display devices. A lens array(200) comprises plural basic lenses and displays a stereoscopic image by forming the basic images, displayed in each display device of the multi-layered image display, on the different center depth plane.

Abstract: 본 발명은 다층 표시 소자를 이용한 입체 영상시스템에 관한 것이다.
상기 입체 영상시스템은 동일한 중심축 상에서 순서대로 배열되어 인가되는 기초 영상을 각각 표시하는 다수의 표시 소자를 포함하는 형태로 다층 영상 표시부를 구성한다. 그리고 영상 처리부를 통하여 입체 영상의 재생을 위한 기초 영상들을 각각 생성하고, 상기 다층 영상 표시부의 각각의 표시 소자로 제공한다. 따라서 각각의 표시 소자들은 영상 처리부로부터 인가되는 기초 영상들을 각각 표시하며, 렌즈 어레이는 이와 같이 표시되는 기초 영상들을 서로 다른 중심깊이 평면-여기서 중심깊이 평면은 해당 표시 소자에 의하여 표시되는 영상의 초점이 맺히는 위치를 기준으로 설정 거리내에 포함되는 영역을 나타냄-상에 결상시켜 입체 영상을 생성한다.
즉, 다층 영상 표시부의 구성인 다수의 표시 소자를 이용하여 동시에 여러 개의 서로 다른 중심깊이 평면을 구현함으로서 입체 영상의 표현 가능한 깊이 감을 향상시킬 수 있다.

An image processor(300) generates each basic image corresponding to the plural display devices and provides the generated basic image to the first display. A voltage controller(400) electrically controls the plural display devices and operates one display device, corresponding to the basic image provided from the first display in a state different from the rest display devices. A lens array(200) comprises plural basic lenses and displays a stereoscopic image by forming the basic images displayed in the display devices, in different central depth planes.
