Abstract: An apparatus and a method for linking in ZigBee networks are provided to provide linking protocols for data transmission between multiple ZigBee networks, thereby effectively transmitting data between multiple ZigBee networks. A method for linking in ZigBee networks comprises the following steps of: requesting linking to a first linking point by a first ZigBee coordinator in a first ZigBee network(S240); scanning multiple ZigBee networks by notifying the first linking point and the scanned result to the first ZigBee coordinator(S280); notifying the scanned result to the first linking point by selecting a second ZigBee network and a second linking point on the basis of the scanned result(S290); and requesting linking to the second linking point in the second ZigBee network by the first linking point.
