Abstract:
A data synchronization system is provided to reduce a communication cost of a user by minimizing the number of wireless connections for a synchronization process. A first unit(100) transmits a synchronization message including meta information. A second unit(200) receives the synchronization message from the first unit, analyzes the meta information included in the synchronization message, stores the meta information, and performs a post-process for data as a synchronization object according to the stored meta information. The meta information defines a keeping period of synchronization data stored in the second unit. The meta information defines a size of the synchronization data.
Abstract:
A point-to-multipoint file transmission method in a CPM(Converged IP Messaging) system is provided to improve the performance and reliability of file transmission in transmitting files in a CPM system by transmitting a list of file receivers to a server, entrusting the server with file transmission management, and transmitting a file under the management of the server. In order to transmit a file to a plurality of receiving terminals, a sending terminal transmits a receiver list to a server in charge of the sending terminal(S210). Receiving the receiver list, the serve rin charge of the sending terminal verifies whether the sending terminal is capable of file transmission(S220). If so, the server in charge of the sending terminal asks each server in charge of each of the receiving terminals whether to be willing to receive the file(S230). Each server in charge of each receiving terminal verifies whether each receiving terminal is capable of file reception(S240). In case a server in charge of a receiving terminal judges that the receiving terminal is capable of file reception, the server asks the receiving terminal whether to be willing to receive the file(S250). The servers in charge of the receiving terminals respectively receive reception consent or denial responses from the receiving terminals and transmit the received responses to the server in charge of the sending terminal(S260). Based on the reception consent/denial responses, the server in charge of the sending terminal creates a new receiver list(S270).

Abstract:
A method for performing registration between an RI(Rights Issuer) and a DA(Domain Authority) for DRM(Digital Rights Management) in a wired/wireless environment, and an SCE(Secure Contents Exchange) function implementing method using the same are provided to offer preparatory information needed for effectively implementing various protocols or functions for the RI and the DA by using a registration function between the RI and the DA. A DA transfers preparatory DA information to the RI(S102). The RI stores the preparatory DA information and transfers RI information to the DA(S104). The DA stores the RI information, generates the information needed for registration based on the RI information, and transfers the generated information to the RI(S104). The RI registers the DA based on the information received from the DA and transfers a result to the DA(S110). A DRM agent registers to the DA to register to a user domain and registers to the user domain. The DRM agent registers the RI, and the registration between the DA and the RI is performed through information interchange between the DA and the RI. The DRM agent requests an RO(Rights Object) to the RI. The RI exchanges the needed information with the DA to obtain user domain information. The RI transfers the RO to the DRM agent.
Abstract:
A domain policy transmission method for managing the user domain is provided to achieve effective transmission of domain policy having dynamic or static characteristics in managing the user domain, between a DA(Domain Authority) and a DEA(Domain Enforcement Agent). A domain policy transmission method for managing the user domain comprises the steps of: processing of authentication of a DEA(Domain Enforcement Agent) by a DA(Domain Authority) according to the authentication request from the DEA(S110); selecting a domain policy which satisfies the required conditions of the DEA according to the request of domain policy from the DEA which has been authenticated by the DA(S120); and transmitting the domain policy selected by the DA to the DEA for update(S130).

Abstract:
A method for delegating a management authority of a user domain is provided to perform an extensible user domain managing operation flexibly as a domain manager controlling the user domain is not in a usable condition in various reasons. A method for delegating a management authority of a user domain includes a step of controlling an admission of the other domain manager by an original domain manager having a user domain management authority(S110); a step of performing a discussion related to a delegation of the management authority for the user domain between the domain managers when checking the admission for the other domain manager(S120); and a step of delegating the management authority of the user domain by transferring management information for the user domain to the new-delegated domain manager from the original domain manager(S130). The management authority of the user domain for the original domain manager is dismissed(S140) and the information related to a dismissal is sent to the new-delegated domain manager, when receiving the information alarming a delegation completion of the management authority for the user domain from the new-delegated domain manager receiving the user domain management information.

Abstract:
A method for managing digital rights in a wired/wireless environment by using a service information parameter is provided to process an error in both ends of a device and an RI(Right Issuer) when the error occurring in processing a server information parameter during a registration stage of a DRM(Digital Rights Management) solution. A device wanting registration transmits a first message including basic information of the device to an RI(S100). The RI receiving the first message transmits a second message including the basic information of the RI to the device(S102). The device transmits a third message for requesting the registration to the RI(S104). The RI registers the device and transmits a fourth message including registration result information to the device(S106). The fourth message includes state information for representing whether or not a server information parameter included in the second and third message is changed. The device displays an error message, terminates connection with the RI, and stops a right object acquisition protocol when the fourth message setting the state information representing change of the server information parameter is received.
