    Abstract: PURPOSE: A cage type microalgae culture machine and a culture method of microalgae using the same are provided to remarkably reduce costs for producing microalgae without a change of water in a culture sac because water can pass through the culture sac, thereby remarkably saving labor. CONSTITUTION: A cage type microalgae culture machine (40) comprises: a culture sac (10) which contains microalgae in an inner space (2) and has a fine network structure; and a floating device (20) which keeps the culture sac floating by buoyancy. The size of the network structure is formed so that the microalgae contained in the inner space cannot escape to the outside while water, nutritive salts, and feed for the microalgae are movable from the outside to the inner space. A culture method of microalgae comprises the steps of forming the network structure in the culture sac and promoting the growth of the microalgae.
