    Abstract: PURPOSE: A soil composition for cultivating Artemisia fukudo, and an artificial cultivation method of the Artemisia fukudo using thereof are provided to grow Artemisia fukudo seeds in the soil composition containing sand, perlite, or peat moss. CONSTITUTION: A soil composition for cultivating Artemisia fukudo contains sand, and perlite or peat moss. 50-200 parts of peat moss by weight are mixed with 100 parts of sand by weight. The soil composition additionally includes more than one component selected from an organic medium, a water-soluble aggregation promoter, a soil moisturizing agent, a plant physiologically active substance, or fertilizer. An artificial cultivation method of the Artemisia fukudo using the soil composition comprises the following steps: sowing Artemisia fukudo seeds to the composition; and irrigating water for promoting the growth of the seeds.
