Abstract: PURPOSE: An antibody to a specific region of selenoprotein O is provided to use in western blotting and immunoprecipitation and to quantify and qualify selenoprotein O. CONSTITUTION: An isolated peptide comprises an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. The peptide contains a cystein at N-terminal for KLH conjugation. The peptide is modified by amidation of C-terminal. An antibody which specifically binds to the peptide with an amino acid of sequence number 1 specifically binds to selenoprotein O. The antibody is used in western blotting or ELISA analysis. A method for detecting a specific polypeptide in a sample comprises: a step of contacting the antibody to the sample; a step of forming complex of the specific polypeptide and antibody; and a step of detecting the complex.

Abstract: 본 발명은 셀레노프로테인 O의 특정 영역에 대한 항체 및 이의 제조방법 및 용도에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 항체는, 세포나 조직내의 시료에서 단백질의 발현유무를 확인할 수 있는 웨스턴 블럿팅(Western Blotting)이나 면역침강에 이용 가능하여 셀레노프로테인 O의 정량 및 정성 분석에 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
