    Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric phase modifier capable of using a linear region of a switching element and a permanent magnet synchronous generator equipping the electric phase modifier are provided to prevent the generation of an abrasion and arc of contact point when charging/discharging a condenser, thereby improving output voltage properties. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of power factor compensation circuits(110,110n) compensates for an output voltage and a power factor. The power factor compensation circuit is connected in parallel to each phase output of the permanent magnet synchronous generator. The master controller(120) calculates the error amount of an instruction value voltage. A sub controller(130) turns on/off the power factor compensation circuits and compensates the error amount. A three phase condenser is connected to each phase output and compensates for the output voltage and power factor of the permanent magnet synchronous generator.
