Abstract: PURPOSE: A novel use of collagen type VI alpha-1 for diagnosing ovarian cancer by detecting specific oxidation modification of the type VI alpha-1. CONSTITUTION: A collagen type VI alpha 1 polypeptide for diagnosing ovarian cancer has an oxidation form is oxides in a cystein residue of the peptide. The polypeptide is changed by the oxidation in a form selected among S-S(disulfide), -SOH(sulfenic), -SOOH(sulfinic), and -SOOOH(sulfonic). A method for diagnosing ovarian cancer comprises a step of detecting oxidation of the polypeptide contained in a patient's sample. A binding material specifically binds to the polypeptide of oxidized form and is selected from an antibody, aptamer, and peptide mimetics. The sample is selected from the group consisting of tissue, extract, cell lysate, whole blood, plasma, serum, urine, ascitic fluid, synovia, and peritoneal fluid.

Abstract translation: 目的：通过检测VI型α-1的特异性氧化修饰，对胶原型VIα-1的新型用途来诊断卵巢癌。 构成：用于诊断卵巢癌的胶原型VIα1多肽具有氧化形式，即肽的半胱氨酸残基中的氧化物。 该多肽以选自S-S（二硫化物），-SOH（亚磺酸），-SOOH（亚磺酸）和-SOOOH（磺酸）的形式的氧化而改变。 诊断卵巢癌的方法包括检测患者样品中所含多肽的氧化的步骤。 结合材料特异性结合氧化形式的多肽，并且选自抗体，适体和肽模拟物。 样品选自组织，提取物，细胞裂解物，全血，血浆，血清，尿液，腹水，滑膜和腹膜液。

Abstract: 본발명은난소암진단을위한콜라겐유형Ⅵ 알파 1의신규한용도에관한것으로보다상세하게는산화된콜라겐유형Ⅵ 알파 1(collagen type VI alpha 1) 폴리펩티드또는이에대한결합물질, 이를유효성분으로포함하는난소암진단용조성물. 상기조성물을함유한키트, 이를이용한진단방법, 콜라겐유형Ⅵ 알파 1(collagen type VI alpha 1) 폴리펩티드의난소암특이적산화부위에대한다형성폴리펩티드및 이에대한항체에관한것이다. 본발명은난소암을진단할수 있는새로운방법을제공한다. 본발명의콜라겐유형Ⅵ 알파 1 폴리펩티드는난소암에서특이적으로산화변형을보이므로이를검출하는경우난소암의진단의목적으로유용하게사용할수 있다.
