Abstract: A method for collecting an EPG(Electronic Program Guide) for digital broadcasting is provided to receive EPG information of all channels by using a broadcasting receiving module that the viewer does not use. A method for collecting an EPG for digital broadcasting comprises the following steps of: confirming whether a second receiving module for recording another channel which is not viewed by a viewer or receiving a signal in a sub screen of a multi screen is used or not(S100); if not so, receiving EPG information by using the second receiving module(S110); confirming whether an external interrupt for using the second receiving module is generated while the EPG information is received by using the second receiving module(S120); if so, confirming whether a first receiving module for receiving a signal for enabling a viewer to watch broadcasting in a main screen is used or not(S200); if not so, receiving and storing EPG information by using the first receiving module, and returning to the first step(S210); and if so, returning to the first step.
