Abstract: PURPOSE: A vertical cavity surface emitting laser is provided to efficiently produce high power, a low threshold current, and a single mode laser by optimizing an interval, depth, and diameter of a micro pore and size of an oxide aperture. CONSTITUTION: A vertical cavity surface emitting laser(100) forms a single transverse mode, a low threshold current, and high optical power. The vertical cavity surface emitting laser comprises a substrate(110), a lower part bragg reflector(120), a gain layer(130), a guide layer(140), and a top bragg reflector(150). The guide layer has an oxide aperture(141). The top bragg reflector has a micro pore(151). A part of the top bragg reflector and a lower surface of the substrate have a top electrode(153) and a bottom electrode(111), respectively.
