    Abstract: PURPOSE: A catheter using electroactive polymer and a method of manufacture thereof are provided, which makes minute position determination of an end portion possible regardless of the skill-level of an operator. CONSTITUTION: A catheter using electroactive polymer comprises: a main body(110) consisting of electroactive polymer of the cylindrical shape; a first electrode pair formed in the external side of main body; and a controller(130) for controlling the operation of the main body. A manufacturing method of a catheter using electroactive polymer comprises: a first step of preparing electroactive polymer; a second step of attaching a masking tape; a third step of forming electrode pair; and a fourth step of eliminating the masking tape.
